Turn documents into clean Markdown.
Drop Converter is a native Mac app. Drag a PDF, Word, PowerPoint, or HTML file onto the window — or paste a web-page URL — and it becomes clean Markdown with headings, lists, tables and images preserved.
No cloud. No account. Every result is a plain .md file in a folder you choose — headings, lists and tables preserved, images saved alongside.

How it works
Drop a file — or several at once — and each becomes its own .md. Right-click in Finder and "Open With" works too.
The hard part done right: tables come through as real Markdown tables, not a wall of text. Headings and lists keep their structure.
Give it a web-page link and it pulls out the article (reader-mode) and converts that — no nav, no ads.
Pictures inside a Word doc or deck are saved into a folder next to the clip and re-linked, so it reads fine offline.
The promise
Drop Converter gives reports, decks and contracts a readable text version without a terminal workflow. Conversion runs on your Mac, and nothing is uploaded.
Why
Copying from a document often loses tables, headings and lists. Drop Converter extracts the structure locally and gives you Markdown you can read, edit and reuse in any compatible app.
